We are very pleased with the conversion as this has given us the extra space we required and this was done within a specified deadline which was great. The area was left tidy on a daily basis and each stage of the build was explained to us in detail. The final finish was to a very high standard and everything was cleaned which made it very easy to decorate.
The staff that were present daily were fantastic and we cannot fault them at all, everybody worked exceptionally hard and were very courteous at all times. If you could pass on our thanks to all of your staff that would be appreciated.

We were a bit daunted by having an extension, a new kitchen built and walls knocked down but the whole process was brilliantly dealt with by Bigger Homes who from day one made us feel relaxed and made helpful suggestions throughout the build. We had a young baby and they were happy to work around our schedule when necessary. Nothing was too much of a problem for them and I would have no problem recommending them and we will certainly be using them again in the future.

Single Story Extension and New Kitchen, Leigh.
We contracted Bigger Homes to carry out a single storey extension at the rear of our property, along with some internal wall changes. The quote provided was very competitive, and combined with the professional attitude Bigger Homes displayed at the initial meetings we decided to go ahead with the work. Bigger Homes dealt with everything from architects and council liaison to dealing with suppliers of skips and fittings such as kitchens etc.
The build was started in October, a time frame suggested by ourselves and agreed to by Bigger Homes, showing flexibility to the customers needs. The work went ahead very quickly and Bigger Homes managed to keep the disruption to a minimum. They were very considerate to the fact the house was being used as a family home – keeping tools and materials out of the way of the children, covering any holes and informing us at the end of each day of any items we should be aware of. They worked around things we needed (cooking area and fridge/freezer were kept until the last minute), always leaving the rooms in a “usable” state over the weekend.
The staff provided by Bigger Homes were perfect. All, from young trainees to the experienced professionals, were polite, amiable and considerate that children were in the house. They even offered tips on other decorating activities we were doing at the same time.
The work was carried out within the agreed timescales and to budget. Where additional items were requested by us or recommended by Bigger Homes, prices were agreed and kept to, with no changes in overall length of build.
The finish was excellent as expected, we are very pleased with it and after nearly a year of use we are yet to find anything that we have flagged as a problem. Minor snags noticed during the build or just after were picked up and dealt with quickly and well.
All in all, it was a very satisfying build and as a result we have since contracted Bigger Homes to perform a removal/rebuild of a external garage.

Bigger Homes built us a single-storey extension and converted our garage into a Dining room. The whole team were professional throughout and delivered the whole project on time and to budget. I can’t speak highly enough of them, and would gladly recommend them to anyone. Nearly 3 years down the line, and we’re still delighted with the outcome.
It’s difficult to find reliable recommendations when it comes to construction, and our biggest fears were cost over-runs and quality of the job. Bigger Homes delivered on both counts – Cost was competitive, and was a fixed-price quote. The quality of the extension is fantastic, and the guys went the extra mile on several occasions. Another important point is that the site was always left clean, tidy and safe at the end of everyday – this was particularly important to us as we have 2 young children.

I had a quote from Bigger Homes for a loft conversion, I was not put under any pressure to accept and we discussed any changes that I wanted. Gary and his team were very helpful, I gave them my budget and they completed the quote to fit my budget.
I decided to go ahead with the quote, they arrived on the first day promptly, the staff they used were polite and kept the area tidy after each day when they finished. The different tradesmen for the different jobs electrician, carpenter etc, always arrived on time and there was no time lapse waiting for the next job, work went on continuously under the careful eye of David, who called in to check progress of the work and to make sure I was happy.
Happy I was more than happy, when the conversion was completed! As it came in straight on budget and I couldn’t believe that my old loft was now a lovely playroom for my children. They have had many hours of fun and a I live in a bungalow, it’s a godsend that all the toys can go upstairs.

Bigger Homes took all the hassle away from us on a major extension and refurbishment, in Wickford. We extended the whole back of the house (ground and first floor) as well as refurbishing and rewiring the existing space. All the team were great, we had two young children and had planned to move out for the main part of the works which lasted around 3 months however, when it came to the main break through, we decided not to leave, given how clean their team had kept everything, they also left us with full running services and a small kitchen which although created a little hassle for them to work round saved us 3 months rent not having to move out. The team were fantastic, the works were to a very high standard and nothing was to much trouble for them. I am in the business myself so know I wouldn’t have been the easiest to work for but they did what they said they would do from the very start which made things so easy.

Dave and his team have been nothing but accommodating and professional throughout the entire build (loft conversion and extension). Having workmen in your house can be chaotic, intruding and inconvenient. The team were constantly aware of these feelings and always tried where possible to give us a sense of relatively normal home life; even when being without a kitchen.
We were informed of progress and concerns nearly every day. Dave often saw things that could be improved and had a real vision for what the property conversion could really be like. His counsel was always explained clearly and in a friendly manner. Dave always worked hard to find products we wanted or suitable alternatives.
It is clear that Dave and his team take real pride in their work and this was demonstrated on several occasions by the long working hours and the depth of cleaning that took place after every visit.

It was a major project involving removal of Roof to increase height for to maximise space. I didn’t have to manage them or chase them to find out where they were. The team were
there every day doing a full days work. They kept to their date promise despite snow hampering the building process. Setbacks were handled in an open and fair manner. Communication throughout the build was good and potential problems were flagged long before they became issues – I always knew what to expect with no surprises. On the
bi-fold doors, they were willing to explore alternatives to find high quality doors at a price I was happy with and they made suggestions to improve the look and feel. There was an issue with the colour of the doors being wrong which was promptly resolved.
